Special seminar: A Cartoon Guide to Life in the Lab and the Classroom – June 19

Biochemistry is hosting one of their former graduate students, Ed Himelblau, who began drawing cartoons for science teaching and life in the lab as a student. The seminar will take place on June 19 at 12 p.m. in Khorana Auditorium and will be followed by a reception with Babcock Hall ice cream.

Himelblau received his Ph.D. at UW-Madison in 2000 and is currently a professor at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He teaches genetics, plant physiology, and contributes to secondary teacher preparation.
