Five CALS faculty members honored with Vilas awards

Five CALS faculty members are among the 42 members of the UW–Madison faculty honored during the past year with awards supported by the estate of professor, U.S. senator and UW Regent William F. Vilas (1840-1908). Honorees were recognized during a Vilas awards celebration event on May 8.

Vilas Faculty Mid-Career Investigator Awards
These awards recognize research and teaching excellence. The award provides flexible research funding for one year.
