Please join the CALS Office of Academic Affairs in welcoming Megan Ackerman Yost to our staff. On Feb. 25, Megan assumed a newly-created Academic Planner position in our unit, and will be working with various departments and units in the college and on campus regarding curriculum changes and updates. We are excited to have her join our unit, and she is already very hard at work.
Originally from central Pennsylvania, Megan spent 12 years in New York State, and the past seven years in Washington, D.C., working for a higher education accreditation agency. In her role at the agency, Megan gained experience reviewing and advising institutions on courses, curricula, policies and procedures, and operations.
Megan received her BS degree in Plant Science with Honors in Research focusing on fungal taxonomy from Cornell University and a master’s degree in Linguistics with a specialization of Teaching English as a Second Language from Syracuse University.
She is excited to be back at a land grant institution supporting the CALS mission and priorities, and is excited to be a part of the UW–Madison community.
