The CALS Wellness Committee would like to remind faculty and staff about the benefits of practicing mindfulness. Mindfulness is a state of awareness that helps boost attention, productivity, and limits stress levels in the workplace.
Biochemistry hosts mindfulness sessions every other Wednesday guided by youtube videos. Contact email@example.com for more information.
Can’t join? Here are a few tips to practice mindfulness on your own:
- Take a moment to focus on your breathing, especially when you are stressed.
- Observe your surroundings. Become more aware of sounds and sights you may not otherwise notice.
- Look at your own physical sensations. Feel how your body relaxes itself.
- Recognize your emotions and thoughts without judgment.
