Each year, the CALS Dean’s Office is charged with finding candidates to serve on college committees. Committees span a variety of topics including research, instruction, diversity, international programs, facilities, and more.

If you would like to be considered for current and future committee openings in the college, please complete the committee interest survey at:  https://go.wisc.edu/53n6jk. The survey provides a list of committees for each appointment type. For consideration in 2019-20, please complete the survey by March 4, 2019. If you have answered this survey in the past, we encourage you to complete the survey again if your interests have changed or if you have not completed the survey within the last three months.

Indicating your interest is not in any way binding. As seats open up on your committees of interest, a member of the Dean’s Office may contact you to further explore your potential participation. Regular appointments to college committees are made in the spring. (Please note that not every committee has openings for new members every year and that some committees are not reflected in this survey.)

Committee participation is a great way for colleagues to grow personally and professionally, to meet others outside their units, to learn more about the college, and to have a voice in college issues. If you have an interest in committee service, please take a moment to complete the survey.
