New UW ICTR Collaborative Health Equity Research Pilot Award Program accepting applications

The Collaborative Health Equity Research (CHER) Pilot Award Program, a UW ICTR funding opportunity requiring junior/senior mentorship, is now accepting applications. The award supports community-engaged health equity research projects wherein the PI is an early stage investigator and a senior co-investigator is engaged to ensure a mentored experience and to connect the research team with relevant stakeholders.

Target Audience: UW–Madison and Marshfield investigators (faculty/scientists) conducting research focused on improving human health and/or reducing health disparities. ICTR-CAP funding opportunities facilitate multidisciplinary, community-partnered research that solves problems translating knowledge into improvements in clinical practice, policy, and community health programs.

Amount/duration: $50,000/12 months
