Lori DiPrete Brown to speak about Global Health Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century – Oct. 30

For the next Global Health Tuesday seminar on Tuesday, Oct. 30, GHI Associate Director Lori DiPrete Brown is presenting “From Inspiration to Action: Global Health Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century.” The event will take place at 5:00 p.m. in Room 1345 of the Health Sciences Learning Center.

DiPrete Brown, who’s been at the forefront of shaping the undergraduate and graduate global health certificate programs at UW–Madison, will draw on her experience as an educator and practitioner to look at future directions of global health education and ask central questions about the evolution of global health. She’ll make the local-to-global connection and discuss UW–Madison’s role in transforming global education.
