Multiple funding opportunities are available for UW–Madison faculty and instructional staff to support various educational innovations in teaching and learning. The standard award amount for all three opportunities is $15,000.
- Online Course Development Grants – These grants support the development of online courses taught during any term (fall, spring or summer). In addition to funding, grant recipients receive tools, training and resources including in-kind support from campus instructional technologists to assist with course design, development and production. - EI Small Grant Program – This program advances efforts in blended and active learning, Open Educational Resources (OER) and assessment at the course level. Proposals due Monday, Oct. 22. Learn more.
- Summer Term Igniter Funds – These funds aim to ignite innovation in the areas of pre-college, early start and research in summer courses or programming. There will be two rounds of calls for proposals – one in fall 2018 and the other in spring 2019. Fall proposals due Tuesday, Oct. 23. Learn more.
