Nominations are being sought for the sixth annual Awards for Mentoring Undergraduates in Research, Scholarly and Creative Activities, which recognize faculty, academic staff and graduate students for the outstanding work they do in mentoring UW–Madison undergraduates in their areas of professional activity. These awards will provide $2,000 of university expendable funds (supplies and expenses) to a faculty member, academic staff member or graduate student for excellence in undergraduate mentoring. The descriptions of the eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and application materials are described in this Undergrad Mentor Award Application Process document.
The awards will be presented to recipients at a reception at the Undergraduate Symposium on Friday, April 12, 2019, in Union South. It is a requirement of the program that they attend to receive their award. For more information, see the awards website linked here.
