“Genetic Reflections” science art installation honored by Madison Magazine

If you haven’t seen “Genetic Reflections,” a science art installation, you now have another reason to go. The work has been listed on the 2018 M List: Innovation in the Arts by Madison Magazine.

The public science art installation was created by Madison-based artist Angela Johnson and genetics professor Ahna Skop. The piece is permanently installed outside of the UW–Madison Genetics/Biotech Auditorium, across from room 1360, and is designed to highlight genetic research on campus and encourage visitors to interact with and support science.

Madison Magazine selected 31 forward-thinking artists and organizations for the 2018 M List, which this year spotlights innovation in the arts and honors artists whose contributions to Madison’s art scene have been original and exceptional. Read more about the list here.
