The Khorana Bose Symposium will be open to the public for the first time to share information about the Department of Biochemistry’s Khorana and Bose scholar programs, as well as WINStep Forward. The free event will be held Friday, July 27, from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at DeLuca Biochemistry Laboratories. Speakers include Bose Scholar Natalie Galles sharing her experience researching in India, current Khorana and Bose scholars, alumni of the programs currently working towards PhDs at UW–Madison, and members of the SciROI group that helps connect graduate students and postdocs to STEM-related career opportunities in India.
