Last Wednesday, alumni and friends of CALS gathered with faculty, staff, and members of the Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association (WALSAA) Board for the annual WALSAA picnic.

The picnic, which traditionally corresponds with Wisconsin Farm Technology Days, was held a short drive from the show at the Marshfield Agricultural Research Station (MARS). The staff at MARS were gracious hosts for this successful event which drew approximately 85 people from around the state.

A short program included remarks from Paul Patterson, chair of the WALSAA Board events committee, and Senior Associate Dean Dick Straub.
