Does your program have excess produce (fruits and vegetables)? Consider donating it to the Campus Food Shed.
The Campus Food Shed collects produce from researchers and student farmers that is not needed for research or outreach purposes and makes it available to students, staff and faculty at four locations around campus. The goals are to reduce food waste and provide healthy food to the UW–Madison community.
If you think you might have produce to donate, let Campus Food Shed know what types you might have and when you think you could donate. The project is strictly a volunteer organization, but arrangements to pick up donations may be made in certain cases.
