John Klatt, CALS Assistant Dean of Student Development, has been selected to receive the Partner of the Year Award from the UW–Madison Center for Leadership & Involvement (CfLI), a department of the Division of Student Life. The honor is designed to recognize an individual or campus unit that has significantly aided in the advancement of the Center’s mission, programs and services.
Klatt has been a long-time collaborator and contributor to CfLI, serving in various capacities over the years. He is a long-serving Leadership Certificate Review Committee member and has actively supported the Center’s efforts in generating a campus-wide commitment to leadership education. In addition to Klatt’s support of leadership development, he is committed to ensuring that the student organization experiences of students are prioritized.
Just within the past year, Klatt has served as a Registered Student Organizations Dual Registration Partner, a Review Team member for the Leadership Certificate, a member of the Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership Planning Team, and a contributor to the Student Organization Structure review process.
