Funding Opportunity: USDA Foreign Agricultural Service Borlaug Fellowship Program
Summary of Award Opportunity:
The USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is seeking U.S. State Cooperative Institutions or other colleges and universities, including minority serving institutions (MSIs), to host English-speaking agricultural scientists from low and middle-income countries under the Borlaug International Agricultural Science and Technology Fellowship Program (Borlaug Fellowship Program). Each Fellow has been competitively selected based on research priorities, academic and professional accomplishments, commitment to Borlaug Fellowship Program goals, and leadership qualities. Each Fellow’s proposal and research plan is included at the end of the attached Notice of Funding Opportunity. USDA recommends that the program begin during the Fall of 2018; however, priority should be given to a time that is appropriate for the Fellow’s proposed research topic. The program’s duration should be 12 weeks unless otherwise indicated.
