Excel training for employees in April
The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association is offering Microsoft Excel training for UW–Madison employees in April.
The training will be delivered in separate sessions. Click here to register.
Excel Basics:
- Worksheet navigation and tips to make life easier
- Addressing data problems such as extra spaces, breaking up/combining fields,
field display, etc. with common formulas - Working with tables – filtering, sorting, formatting, conditional formatting,
slicing data and other helpful tips and tricks to use with tables
Advanced Excel:
- Using vLookups to combine information from multiple spreadsheets
- Analyzing/Presenting data by using subtotals and pivot tables
Training will be delivered at the WFAA (1848 University Avenue). You may sign up for the Basic session, the Advanced session or both. And you have the flexibility to attend on different days:
Tuesday, April 17
- Excel Basics – 10am-Noon
- Advanced Excel – 1-3pm
Wednesday, April 25
- Excel Basics – 8:30-10:30am
Thursday, April 26
- Advanced Excel – 8:30-10:30am
