Alumni and friends of the UW–Madison Farm and Industry Short Course (FISC) program are invited to register for the annual reunion event, presented again this year by Badgerland Financial. The program will be Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Coliseum Bar & Banquet, 232 East Olin Avenue, Madison. Schedule highlights include:

This year’s guest speaker is the Fabulous Farm Babe, Pam Jahnke. The reunion is coordinated by a committee of volunteers from the Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association (WALSAA). 2018 marks the 134th year of the FISC program and the 45th year of WALSAA. Awards will be presented for the Friend of Short Course, Service to Agriculture and Excellence in Teaching. There will be a silent auction to help raise scholarship funds for deserving FISC students.
Registration cost is $25 if received by Jan. 20 and $35 thereafter. Register and pay at www.walsaa.org. Registrations are also accepted at the door, but advance registration is appreciated.
Farm and Industry Short Course (FISC) is a one or two year production agriculture program taught during winter months when it is more convenient to leave a production agriculture operation. UW–Madison’s premier agriculture and life science researchers and instructors teach the courses. There are more than 6,000 program alumni to date.
