Dan Young, a professor in the Department of Entomology, appeared on a recent episode of Wisconsin Public Television’s “Around the Farm Table.” He joined host Inga Witscher to talk about dung beetles and the benefit they can bring to a farm. Young and Witscher discussed nutrient recycling, the different species of scarab beetles and how to encourage a beetle presence on farms.
The episode will re-air on Monday, Aug. 7 at 3:30 a.m. on The Wisconsin Channel. You can also watch the full episode of “Dung Beetles, Spuds and Sorghum” online. This entry was posted in Events and tagged entomology by Ben. Bookmark the permalink.
