CALS faculty and staff are invited to participate in a CALS commencement-related event at Allen Centennial Garden on Saturday, May 13.
The pre-commencement gathering will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the garden. Members of WALSAA, the Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association, will be in attendance, and coffee will be served as attendees have the chance to converse with soon-to-be CALS alumni. Faculty, staff and alumni will then escort the graduates to Camp Randall for the commencement ceremony, which is scheduled to start at noon. The processional will depart Ag Hall promptly at 10:45 and continue down Linden Drive, over the pedestrian bridge to Old University Avenue and finally to Camp Randall.
This is a great opportunity to welcome both undergraduates and graduates into the alumni community. Students regularly comment that they appreciate faculty and staff taking the time to attend.
