The Collegiate Farm Bureau at UW-Madison (CFB) will celebrate its annual Ag Day on Campus with the theme “Good farmers. Good food. Great future.” The event will take place Wednesday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Library Mall, with the goal of educating students on the importance of agriculture.
As students walk through Library Mall, they will be able to taste Wisconsin food products provided by The University Club, take pictures in the photo booth, learn from agricultural displays and ask questions about agriculture to CFB members. Additionally, 2,000 pints of milk will be handed out and students will be able to use the themed Snapchat filter across campus. Themed can koozies will also be distributed to students, which feature a fun fact about the future of agriculture.
Collegiate Farm Bureau members are excited to use this event to advocate for the agriculture industry. Members are looking forward to sharing their agriculture stories and how they have grown through agriculture.
