Nominations are open for the fourth annual UW-Madison Awards for Mentoring Undergraduates in Research, Scholarly and Creative Activities, which recognize faculty, academic staff, post-doctoral fellows and graduate students for the outstanding work they do in mentoring undergraduates in their areas of professional activity. These awards will provide $2,000 of university expendable funds (supplies and expenses) to a faculty member/research group, academic staff member, or post-doctoral fellow/graduate student for excellence in undergraduate mentoring. The awards will be presented to recipients at a reception at the close of the Undergraduate Symposium on Thursday, April 13, 2017, in Union South. It is a requirement of the program that they attend to receive their award.
