In addition to Babcock Hall Dairy and Bucky’s Butchery, shoppers will find offerings from Parrfection Produce, a co-op of farmers from Monroe; Munchkey Apples grown locally in Mount Horeb; Savory Accents; Tummy Yummies; Clean Fresh Food and others.
New this year: Farm To Table bags
This farmers market will feature Farm to Table bags, a new way to connect campus and local farmers. Each bag will contain the freshest fruits and vegetables from this week’s harvest along with a recipe card tailored to your bounty. Support local farmers by eating affordable, local fruits & veggies. Wisconsin Union Restaurants will be at the market each week demonstrating the recipe and handing out samples.
Each week the Farmers Market will feature a special guest organization. Each organization focuses on food, healthy lifestyles, and/or sustainable living. Guests include UHS, F.H. King, WUD Cuisine and many more.
