Two CALS alumni were named Wisconsin’s Outstanding Young Farmers. Angie (BS’00) and Mark (BS’98) Ulness are both dairy science graduates and they operate Ragner Holsteins in Valders, Wis.

Criteria for the award are based on community involvement, conservation, land stewardship and progress in an agricultural career. The couple will represent Wisconsin in the national Outstanding Young Farmer contest in South Carolina in February, 2017.
