On Monday, August 1, the UW-Madison Office of Recruitment and Admissions successfully went live with the Common Application. Students applying to UW-Madison can now use either the UW System Application or the Common Application. The office does not prefer one application over the other.
The office’s website has been fully updated to reflect the new changes. The application fee has also increased from $50 to $60, as of August 1.
“Using the UW System Application gives applicants access to UW system schools, and using the Common Application gives them access to schools that use the Common Application. If a prospective student were to ask me which one to use, I’d encourage them to think about which schools they desire to apply to,” notes Cindy Fendrick, student services coordinator in CALS Transitional Advising and Outreach Services. This entry was posted in Teaching & Advising by email@example.com.
