Music in the Garden: Allen Garden hosts two events this weekend

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Allen Centennial Garden is hosting two free public events that feature live music:

Final Friday in the Garden
Friday, June 24 at 4:00 p.m.

On June 24, 2016 join Allen Centennial Garden for a night of good food from the El Grito Taqueria and Underground food trucks, live music from local singer/songwriter Corey Hart, and garden themed activities including “Plant Your Own Succulent” and “Rock Painting.” Come to eat some tasty food, listen to some relaxing music, explore the Garden and get your hands a little dirty with some fun activities! Free admission to this event. Food sold separately.

Summer Sundays: Concerts in the Garden featuring the Johannes Wallman Quartet West
Sunday, June 26 at 4:00 p.m.

Known as a “remarkable pianist and composer” (Downbeat Magazine) and “a truly international kind of cat” (Midwest Record), Johannes Wallmann, the Director of Jazz Studies at UW-Madison opens Summer Sundays with a quartet of top-notch guest artists from Los Angeles and San Francisco who offer a high-energy, imaginative and infectious kickoff for the new summer concert series.
