CALS Communicators Group to discuss donor stewardship – June 16

The next CALS Communicators Group meeting will focus on the importance of donor stewardship and will feature members of the CALS Development Team from the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA). The meeting is set for Thursday, June 16 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. in room 1220 of the DeLuca Biochemical Sciences Building (440 Henry Mall). Light snacks will be provided.

Presenters/panelists include:

Andrea Engebretson
Associate Vice President and Managing Director of Development
Annie oversees the college’s development team. She is the department liaison for Animal Science, Biological Systems Engineering, Genetics, and the Plant Sciences Building Projects. Annie has been with WFAA for 14 years.

Jodi Wickham
Senior Director of Development
Jodi is the department liaison for Agricultural and Applied Economics, Allen Centennial Garden, Bacteriology, Center for Integrated Ag Systems, Community and Environmental Sociology, Dairy Science, Farm and Industry Short Course, Forest and Wildlife Ecology, Life Sciences Communication, WI School for Beginning Dairy and Livestock Farmers, and Soil Science. Jodi has been with WFAA for 16 years.

Barb McCarthy
Senior Director of Development
Barb is the department liaison for Agronomy, Biochemistry, CDR/Dairy Plant, Entomology, Food Research Institute, Food Science, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Nutritional Sciences, Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics, and Plant Pathology. Barb has been with WFAA for 11.5 years.

Ale Nicolet
Associate Director of Development
Ale is the development liaison for WALSAA and works on behalf of the college to lead annual giving efforts. Ale has been with WFAA for almost one year.

Kate Bahr
Development Program Manager
Kate works with the CALS scholarship director, oversees fund management, and works on development events and stewardship initiatives. Kate has been with WFAA for 6 years.
