CALS faculty and staff are invited to participate in two CALS commencement-related events on Saturday, May 14: a pre-commencement gathering at Ag Hall and a post-commencement reception in the Field House.
The pre commencement gathering will take place at Ag Hall. WALSAA, the Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association, will provide coffee and donuts starting at 10 a.m. as attendees converse with soon-to-be CALS alumni. Faculty, staff and alumni will then escort the graduates to Camp Randall for the commencement ceremony, which is scheduled to start at noon. The processional will depart Ag Hall promptly at 10:45 and continue down Linden Drive, over the pedestrian bridge to Old University Avenue and finally to Camp Randall.
CALS will host graduates and their families at a post-commencement reception in the Field House immediately following the ceremony (likely at 1:30 or 1:45 p.m.).
This is a great opportunity to welcome both undergraduates and graduates into the alumni community. Students regularly comment that they appreciate faculty and staff taking the time to attend.
