Bacon! Join the Badger Meat Science Club for its Bacon Workshop and learn the science and craft of bacon processing. The workshop will take place April 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The $75 registration fee supports educational activities and will help send the club to a conference in Texas this summer.
The demonstration includes a 30-minute seminar, a pork belly for each participant, sensory and taste evaluation and hands-on bacon curing. Participants can pick up their finished products during Bucky’s Butchery store hours.
