CALS Academic Planning Council seeks four new members

Nominations are underway for membership on CALS Academic Planning Council for terms running from 2016-2019.  APC is the primary shared governance body in the college and advises the dean on strategic planning, resource allocation, academic program proposals, and more.  Four faculty seats are open for nomination, one each from Food Science (Division 1), Soil Science (Division 2), Life Sciences Communication (Division 3), and Bacteriology (Division 5).  If you would like to nominate a faculty member from one of these four departments, please contact the corresponding department chair.  The next open academic staff seat will occur in 2017, and the Extension seat will be open in 2018.  Elections will take place during the first two weeks in May.
