Opportunity for students: Careers in healthcare event

Advisers, encourage your students to explore various healthcare and clinical career options at the upcoming Careers in Healthcare: Clinical Careers Beyond Direct Patient Care event. The event runs from 5:00-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 31 in Steenbock Library’s BioCommons area (lower level), 550 Babcock Dr.

There will be a panel discussion and small group Q&A, followed by pizza and networking. Panelists will speak about their bioscience education and how their work within the healthcare industry directly supports the care of people without medically treating with patients. Students will have the chance to hear from each panelist in a large group setting and then meet in small discussion groups.

Clinical Careers Beyond Direct Patient Care is sponsored by: College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Career Services, College of Letters & Science Career Services, and WISCIENCE.
