Scholarships help open up study abroad experiences for CALS students
In a recent podCALS episode, Susan Huber Miller, director of CALS’ study abroad program, discussed the advantages of overseas study for students and the various opportunities for CALS students to go abroad.
She noted that while many students are excited to have a study abroad experience, financing is often a big question. How can they afford it? Fortunately, notes Huber Miller in the interview, there are scholarships that can help.
“We at CALS are really committed to making this experience possible for as many students as we can, and we have some wonderful donors that have provided scholarships to offset the costs for study abroad. The commitment to scholarships has really enabled many students who may normally be unable to study abroad to have this experience,” says Huber Miller.
Information on the scholarships referenced by Huber Miller can be found on the CALS International Programs website.
