Michelle Miller, associate director of the Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems, will be among the panelists at the upcoming Food Dialogues® at Dairy Strong: Farming for the Future event on Thursday, Jan 14.
This panel discussion will explore how customers, farmers and others define sustainability, and the various methods and technologies used on modern farms – small and large – to protect the environment. Farmers, ranchers, academics and environmental experts will weigh the pros and cons of production techniques that may or may not be as sustainable as one may think.
The discussion will take place on Thursday, Jan. 14 from 10:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. CT. It will be held as part of the 2016 Dairy Strong Conference in the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Conference attendees do not need to pre-register for this event. For individuals who would like to attend the panel discussion in-person – or watch it online – but are not conference attendees, go here for instructions. This entry was posted in Events and tagged center for integrated agricultural systems by firstname.lastname@example.org.
