Are the gray skies and colder temperatures bringing you down? Sad to see the pretty fall colors all gone for the next few months? Well, there are a few places on campus you can visit to lift your spirits, see colorful plants and find a touch of a tropical climate. Visit one of these close by and open-to-the-public spaces to experience a touch of green and red and yellow…
- DC Smith Greenhouse – open to the public 8am – 4pm weekdays, located at 1575 Linden Dr.
- The Department of Botany Greenhouse – open to the public 8am – 4pm weekdays, located at 430 Lincoln Dr.
- Walnut Street Research Greenhouse – open 7am – 4pm weekdays, located at 525 Walnut St.
- UW Biotron – open 7:45am – 4:45pm weekdays, located at 2115 Observatory Dr. (NOTE: Visitors should use the intercom phone at the front entrance on Observatory Drive to request entry.)
