It’s turkey time: UW Poultry Club taking Thanksgiving orders

Screen Shot 2015-10-23 at 12.20.43 PMFor more than 50 years, the UW Poultry Club has sold Thanksgiving turkeys as a fundraiser. This year’s turkeys are pre-dressed, fresh and will be ready for pick-up on campus just before Thanksgiving.

Turkeys range from 11-26 pounds and cost $2.50 per pound. The club has a limited number to sell, and orders will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

Pick up and payment (cash or check) will take place on Monday and Tuesday, November 23 and 24. Pick up hours for both days are 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Poultry Research Laboratory (1925 Observatory Drive).
