Metabolism research is thriving at UW-Madison and will be bolstered by a new metabolism initiative led by the Morgridge Institute for Research.
To help kick-start this initiative, MIR is hosting a workshop titled Strategies and Methods for the Study of Metabolism. The two-day event will take place September 28-29 in the DeLuca Forum of campus’ Discovery Building, located at 330 N. Orchard Street. Faculty, staff, students and community members are welcome to attend. Please register here.
This workshop will feature introductions to metabolism research methods and technologies currently performed on campus, including a significant number of presentations by CALS faculty. The event will focus on practical considerations in designing and performing experiments that are relevant to researchers on campus who are either doing metabolism research or are considering such studies.
