Allen Centennial Gardens will host two Sunrise Outdoor Yoga sessions this summer through UW Rec Sports.
Session I is offered on Tuesdays mornings from June 30 – Aug. 4. Session II takes place on Thursday mornings from July 2 – Aug. 6. Both of these six-week sessions run from 7 – 7:45 am on the gardens’ main lawn. The rain location is room 1065 in the Natatorium. Registration costs $5 and covers a full six-week session.
Here’s a description of the course from the UW Rec Sports website: Sunrise Outdoor Yoga is a Vinyasa-based practice, designed to energize the body and stimulate the mind. We will explore different poses to help strengthen and balance the body, adding variations and challenges along the way to keep the mind engaged. With a Vinyasa flow to ground the practice, each class will allow opportunity to expand upon the familiar, while still allowing our sense of curiosity to take us to beyond. Whether you’re a ritualized and regular yogi, or brand new to the mat, this class will leave you feeling more open and connected — a perfect way to start the day!
Open to all UW-Madison Faculty, Staff, Students and Rec Sports members. This entry was posted in Highlights and tagged horticulture, allen gardens, allen centennial gardens by email@example.com. Bookmark the permalink.
