Learn about innovations and improvements at UW’s annual Showcase event

Members of the campus community are invited to attend the UW-Madison’s 16th annual improvement Showcase on Tuesday, April 14th at Union South. Showcase provides a
unique forum for UW faculty, staff, and administrators to share with their peers and learn about good ideas to adapt for their own units.

UW colleagues from across campus will be on hand to highlight recent innovations and improvements in 70+ poster displays and four breakout sessions.

Jordan Ellenberg, who holds both the John D. MacArthur Professor of Mathematics and the Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor of Mathematics chairs, has chosen “There is No Such Thing as Public Opinion” as his Showcase lunchtime keynote topic.

Showcase is a free event, but please register in advance. You are welcome to attend all or portions of the program, which runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Continental breakfast will be available throughout the morning, and a buffet lunch is provided.

Chairs, directors, managers and supervisors are urged to attend and to allow staff members to attend without the loss of pay. This will be a great opportunity for everyone to identify potential improvements that will benefit your work units.
