Remember: This weekend (Dec. 5–7) is the time to purchase your holiday foliage at the Forestry Club’s annual tree sale and the Horticulture Society’s holiday plant sale. Both events begin this Friday at the Stock Pavilion. Proceeds help pay for student activities.
- Forest and wildlife ecology students will be selling trees (Fraser fir, balsam fir, white pine) as well as Fraser fir wreaths on the arena floor. For more info download the flyer or email email@example.com. The tree sale runs on Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. and on Sunday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Horticulture students will be selling poinsettias, Christmas cacti, tabletop holiday pines and fragrant rosemary trees. For more information download the flyer or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The plant sale runs on Friday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and on Saturday 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Waiting until the end isn’t a good plan. Both events tend to sell out.
