The organization Doctors Without Borders will be offering an information session this coming Tuesday, September 16, 4:30-6:00pm in room 1335 of the Health Sciences Learning Center. Please see the attached flyer for more information, and feel free to post in your departments and share with your colleagues. No registration is required and we hope you can join us!
In addition, Doctors Without Borders will be hosting a FREE screening of the film Access to the Danger Zone that evening (9/16) at 7pm, at Sundance Cinemas in Madison. Directed by Peter Casaer and narrated by Daniel Day-Lewis, this documentary provides a harrowing look at the challenges of delivering humanitarian aid in armed conflicts. Following the screening, local Doctors Without Borders aid workers will have a Q&A session and will share stories from their overseas assignments. To RSVP to the film screening, click here.
