Panel to discuss resources available to help plan and publicize a scientific meeting
At the next CALS Communicators Group meeting, set for Tuesday, Oct. 7 from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Biochemical Sciences Building’s conference room (room 1220), a panel will share information about resources available to UW faculty and staff to help plan and publicize scientific meetings. Anybody interested in this topic is welcome to attend.
Panelists include:
Steve Amundson, director, UW-Madison Campus and Visitor Relations, the office that coordinates campus tours and other visitor services. http://info.wisc.edu/

Ann Shea, senior convention sales manager, Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau, the local organization that provides assistance to those who bring groups to Madison. http://www.visitmadison.com/
