The 2014 Specialty Crop Block Grant Program request for proposal has been released by DATCP. Proposals are due to DATCP on Monday, March 31. Since many of the University submissions are coordinated with state commodity groups, it is recommended that proposals are routed to the CALS Research Division in WISPER at least one week prior to this deadline. Specialty Crop grants do not allow for tuition remission and include a 25% mandatory cost share requirement. If there are any questions about submission or proposal components, please contact the CALS Research Division at 890-3180.
Specialty Crop Block Grant Program funds are to be used to benefit the entire specialty crop industry as a whole and not provide direct profit to a specific organization, institution or individual. Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 31.
