Bucky’s Butchery, campus’ own meat shop that’s largely run by CALS animal sciences students, has started taking orders for holiday ham and prime rib. To order, download this form, fill it out and email it as an attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org (using Subject Line: Holiday Ham and Prime Rib Order) or drop the form off at Bucky’s Butchery during store hours (Fridays 11-3).
Orders must be picked up in the store during store hours on Friday, Dec. 13 or Friday, Dec. 20.
The deadline for ordering ham is Dec. 6. Whole hams are approximately 18-20 lbs, enough to feed about 30 people. Half hams are about 9-10 lbs. Mini hams are about 5 lbs.
Whole smoked ham (bone in) costs $2.50/lb.
Half smoked ham (bone in) costs $2.75/lb.
Mini hams cost $2.75/lb.
Prime rib roast:
The deadline to order prime rib is Dec. 13. Minimum roast size is 4 pounds. Bucky’s Butchery recommends about 3/4 – 1 pound per person, so a 6 pound roast should feed 6-8 people.
