We want you to see the writing on the wall. Also on the roofs, floors, in the shrubbery, fields and lab benches. We need your help building the CALS Photo Alphabet Project—a full alphabet of “letter art” from the places we work and study. Please read this earlier eCALS post for a general introduction to the project.
We have already received a really fantastic assortment of letter art and are excited to keep the momentum going throughout the summer and fall. Our deadline for accepting submissions is October 1st.
The idea is to use the letters taken from around the CALS campus to spell messages in CALS promotional materials. The letters we are most in need of are: “A,” “G,” “K,” “N,” and “S,” but we are happy to receive any letters you find.
It’s easy to participate: All we’re asking is, as you walk across the CALS campus or ARS grounds, that you please keep your eyes peeled for “hidden letters” and send your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re eager to see what you find!
You can view project updates as well as an album of our favorite submissions on the CALS Facebook page.
Thanks in advance for your help,
CALS Office of External Relations
