USDA CRIS Reporting System Changes – CRIS Site Down April 15-May 5

The Current Research Information System (CRIS) is a USDA reporting mechanism used to document the progress of current Hatch, Hatch Multistate, McIntire-Stennis, Animal Health and USDA grants. The system will soon be going through a large update and, following the update, will be called REEport.

The current CRIS reporting site will be down from April 15th to May 5th. REEport will be live starting May 6th.

This will affect many faculty who have a progress/final 4/21 report due for their AFRI, NIFA, Hatch, or McStennis grant after April 15th. These will need to be submitted in the new system.

If you receive a new award from USDA, please notify Casey Hillmer right away when receiving the notice. She will work with you to set up and submit the new CRIS forms.

CALS will provide training for the new REEport system. Please look for notices about upcoming trainings. If you have any questions, please contact Casey Hillmer at 608-262-2397 or clhillmer@cals.wisc.edu.
