Call it seat-of-the-pants ag outreach and education. This Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel article describes how members of the Wisconsin National Guard’s 82nd Ag Development Team arranged to have farm reports and announcements delivered to Afghani farmers via cell phone. The 82nd ADT recently returned from their deployment, having been replaced by the 97th ADT.
