The search is underway for a new CALS assistant dean for academic programs and policies. The person in this position will be part of the leadership team in CALS Undergraduate Programs and Services. Among the many duties, he or she will provide expert advice on developing curricula, oversee the college’s degree audit procedures, oversee the college’s honors program (including allocating undergraduate research funding), support the associate dean in coordinating the allocation and assessment of teaching assistantships, provide leadership in developing academic policies and procedures issues within the college, and participate in personnel decisions, strategies, and training of staff in Undergraduate Programs and Services.
