The December 20th blizzard disrupted the final exam schedule for thousands of students and their instructors across campus, including more than 100 students in CALS who intend to graduate this month. The Office of Undergraduate Programs & Services is making arrangements with the Registrar to adapt our usual procedures for December graduation certification to accommodate the disruption. Most of the reports coming in to 116 Ag Hall are of faculty and staff who have gone out of their way to adapt to the weather, and of students who handled this added stress with good humor. The staff in 116 are handling the few exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Please let us know if there are additional situations we need to be aware of by contacting the office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 262-3003. The provost has asked that all instructors file grades by midnight on Friday, December 28th if at all possible, following the normal procedures at http://registrar.wisc.edu/grading_final_instructions.htm. If you know of a case where that was not possible, please contact UP&S in advance. This entry was posted in Teaching & Advising by . Bookmark the permalink.
