Michel Wattiaux, Professor, Department of Dairy Science is one of four members of the UW System’s teaching faculty to the 2012 Alliant Energy Underkofler Excellence in Teaching Awards. The honor recognizes outstanding commitment to student success.

The award committee noted Wattiaux’s “commitment to internationalizing the agricultural sciences research, instruction , outreach and program development for undergraduate and graduate students and global colleagues” and said that his excellence in teaching “serves as a model for others who want to nationalize the scholarship of teaching and learning.”
