Bold thinking will drive efforts to protect and preserve our changing planet in the 21st century, and UW-Madison students are ready for the challenge.
Students have the opportunity to hone creative solutions through the new Wisconsin Energy & Sustainability Challenge. This challenge combines an existing competition—the Global Stewards Sustainability Prize—with a new competition called the Dvorak Energy Innovation Prize, established by a multi-generation family of UW-Madison alumni. Through both competitions, $10,000 in total prizes will be available to students with the best energy and sustainability solutions.
All UW-Madison students are eligible. The competitions will be held in parallel in the new Wisconsin Energy Institute building on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
