Get delicious weekly lunches made from locally grown foods by Slow Food UW-Madison, the campus branch of the international Slow Food movement, which seeks to foster local foods and food traditions (and, no surprise, many CALS students are participants). Lunches are offered Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the group’s downstairs cafe in The Crossing, 1127 University Avenue (corner of Charter). Menus are posted at slowfooduw.com.
